Good And Bad Times

I can't believe it has been a week since I have posted. It has been fun and crazy around here. We have had field trips, picnics, parties, and family around for 2 graduations. My son graduated from 5th grade on wednesday. All my family got here on friday and my daughter graduated on sunday afternoon. I was so scared we were going to be sitting for like 3-4 hours. I had heard so many horror stories. We were there for 1 hour and 15 minutes. It was great. Then we all went and ate pizza. I really don't get sentimental over things like that. I look at it as moving on to bigger and better things in life. Always remember the past but look forward to the future!!! I just think of all the possibilities that are ahead of her. As she says we are just going to chillax this summer. I hope to get more painting and quilting done while hanging out with the kids.
On a little different note, I received some very bad news yesterday about a friend of mine. Her name is Joan and I met her through a quilting workshop in Paducah. The cancer is back and things are going downhill very fast. I love her dearly and I hope to be able to speak with her again. It is amazing how you can have friends your whole life and meet someone later in life and be just as good of friends. So please take a moment and say a prayer for her and her family. Thank you.
Song of the day: "Amazing Grace"

I am so sorry for your friend. No one should have to go threw that. I am glad to hear the graduations are went well for you. I agree Graduation is only a small step into what can be a great life if you choose to make it that way. She's got her whole life and so so many options in front of her. How exciting. YAY Yet, I still hope to keep my babies in the house for a while. That day will come soon enough. (((HUGS)))
